Dear Prospective Ozrim:
It's that time of year again, time to begin securing your spot as a member of Temple Shalom's 2008-2009 Ozrim program. We are now accepting applications for those students in grades 10-12 wishing to apply to become one of the Ozrim.
Refresh my memory..."What are Ozrim?"
Ozrim are teacher assistants. They work every Sunday during religious school, working with children of all ages. They assist in art projects, story reading, and even lead the lesson on occasions; the role of an Ozer/et depends on the person. The Ozrim receive training in how to be an Ozer/et (how to lead the class, discipline management, writing lessons...every aspect of teaching). The Ozrim of today are the Jewish educators of tomorrow. TempleShalom has the best teacher assistant program in the State of Texas and is recognized throughout the nation! Don't miss your opportunity to be part of it.
If you would like to become part of the Ozrim program, please print and complete the four forms listed above and mail them to: DENNIS EICHELBAUM, c/o TEMPLE SHALOM, 6930 ALPHA ROAD, DALLAS, TEXAS75240. The deadline for receiving applications is August 1st! I look forward to hearing from you!
Have a great summer!
Dennis J. Eichelbaum
