Summer Camp Photos

I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with Temple Shalom's preschool.  I am very excited that Ruby is a part of it.  She absolutely adores Nadya and "going to school". I love it too and feel content knowing she is in good hands.  We look forward to a fun and exciting school year.

There are a lot of good ways to judge a preschool. One is to try and gauge how at home children feel -- if they are comfortable exploring; if they are taught how to interact; and if they are always treated with respect. The children are the experts. Do they love to go to school? Do they talk about it? Their good feelings are brought back into the home in the form of songs, stories, smiles and a growing sense of accomplishment. I have seen all this in my child since bringing her to Temple Shalom. I was so impressed by the genuine level of "child-centered" knowledge and educational expertise at Temple Shalom - I felt the excitement of the teachers in educating children, and I could sense their passion and commitment to care for and teach each child. From the very first day my daughter attended, she was cared for, watched over, and allowed to be herself. She is involved in what's going on, feels pride in herself and loves her school. Jewishly, she feels connected and part of the community. She knows Temple Shalom is her place -- for trusting, learning and growing!”
