Temple Shalom welcomes youth of all ages with diverse programming designed to foster social, spiritual, and educational growth and to help develop the future Jewish leaders of our congregation and the Jewish community. Our goal is to help create a fun and stimulating atmosphere that encourages our young people to develop strong positive bonds with each other, the Temple and Jewish tradition.
In the course of a year, a full spectrum of choices are offered for each age. Programming includes Mitzvah projects, social outings, youth-led services and fun activities at Temple Shalom and off-site. Our Senior Youth Group, SHFTY also participates in National Federation of Temple Youth programming and our Temple has a strong connection to the Greene Family Camp, The URJ affiliate camp located in Bruceville, Texas.
