Adult Choir
The Adult Choir, a volunteer group, rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 pm-9:00 pm. Throughout the year, the Choir participates in Shabbat services, special music Sabbaths, concerts with artists-in-residence and at community events and concerts.

Beautification

Budget & Finance
The Temple Shalom Budget Committee is responsible for working with the temple's senior staff in the preparation of the budget for all temple revenue and expenses for each temple fiscal year (June 1 - May 31). Budget categories include Administration, Ritual, Programs, Youth Education, Preschool, Youth Activities, Building and Grounds, and Capital. The Budget Committee meets from January through March to discuss and prepare a budget that is submitted for approval to the Board of Trustees in April and to the Congregation at the annual meeting in May. The committee is chaired by the temple's Finance Director.

Cemetery
This committee acts as a liaison between Temple Shalom and Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home. Committee members provide Temple members with information related to the purchase of cemetery plots and internments and maintain records related records. The committee also makes recommendations on plot pricing and cemetery rules.

Interfaith
Reform Judaism holds the mitzvah of ahavat ger, welcoming the stranger, among the most important tenets of our faith. Temple Shalom actively welcomes interfaith families into our community and encourages their participation in our Temple and to be a vital part of Jewish life .
We work to empower people to make Jewish choices for themselves and their families and strive to provide resources and support them along their journey so that Temple Shalom can be a welcoming place for people of diverse religious backgrounds, sexual orientations and ethnic backgrounds.

Onegs
Temple Shalom Sisterhood provides an oneg (wine and cheese reception) before every Shabbat Service to encourage Temple members and guests to come early to Temple Shalom, gather and visit with each other before Friday night services. Sisterhood is always pleased to receive baked goods or wine or donations for onegs year round.

The membership committee plans activities and events and special services that are targeted to a variety of different segments within the Temple Shalom family. The Temple Shalom Website Committee assists the congregation in providing an internet platform for communications and other services in a user friendly format to bring members together, make it easier for congregants to know what is happening at Temple and to participate. Youth Department
Volunteers assist with our youth groups including help with shopping, publicity, driving, fundraising, membership, hosting, planning or implementing an event. Children of congregants are encouraged to join the appropriate grade level group. We have four youth groups spanning grades K-12.
Temple Shalom is dedicated to its youth. No matter what grade you are in, or what your interests are, there is something here for you. Our programs are dedicated to providing a safe Jewish environment where youth can have a positive Jewish experience. We have a wide range of programs that include social action, educational, and social activities. We hope that you will get involved!
